Kinder Morgan is seeking a regulatory analyst in Houston to support FERC rate and tariff filings for the Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America. You will prepare revenue and cost of service schedules, assist in rate design studies, and maintain internal models for section 4 or 5 filings.

Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is essential. The role requires a bachelor's degree, 1–3 years in rates/tariffs, and strong Excel modeling skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• FERC knowledge and/or utility accounting desirable.
• Experience in rates and tariffs in natural gas industry required (1–3 years).
• Strong financial modeling skills using Excel.
• Strong analytical and regulatory problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and oral.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare revenue and cost of service schedules for FERC filings.
• Assist in cost allocation and rate design studies for rate/tariff filings.
• Develop rate, fuel, and tariff for pipeline expansion filings with the FERC.
• Maintain internal models and information for rate case filings.
• Review revenues related to negotiated and discount rate agreements.
• Maintain and update tariff rates as needed.
• Communicate with internal departments on FERC policies and ensure compliance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers.
