Job summary

United Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Fence Technician to safely transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer sites across the US. You will operate company vehicles, perform site surveys, and ensure high-quality service while following safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL Class C and at least two years of commercial driving, strong customer service, and reliable teamwork to support daily operations and lead responsibilities when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class C.
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition.
• Check loads to ensure that truck has all material (fence panels, poles, etc.) and tools needed to complete service tickets.
• Conduct daily pre-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediately.
• Operate fence vehicle to and from pre-designated work sites.
• Unload all fence materials and install fence panels at work site in accordance with specifications.
• Coordinate workload and efforts of the Fence Helper and inspect work progress.
• Meet with site superintendent to confirm work order and maintain contact with supervisor for changes.
• Record information such as personnel, production and operational data and submit to Fence Manager.
• Train and support Fence Helpers on installation procedures and safety protocols; assist lead technician as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
