Job summary

Viking Fence in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Fence Installer - Driver to join our outdoor, hands-on team. Earn hourly rate or piece-rate pay, with a 50% driving split and a 50% installation workload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• 1+ year in a service-related role with troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in safely operating delivery vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
• Experience with electric lifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, skid steers, forklifts, etc.
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer.
• Proficient in GPS and routing systems.
• Detail-oriented, efficient, disciplined, and dependable.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials loading, pick-up, delivery, and installation.
• Keep rental products organized and secure during transportation.
• Record and confirm shipment details through asset management software.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness.
• Check weather and road conditions before each trip.
• Adhere to safety protocols, traffic laws, and company regulations.
• Complete special projects as needed.
