Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Fence Installer to join a dynamic field team. You will install and remove temporary fencing, work with power and hand tools, and coordinate with leaders to reach job sites safely and efficiently.

This role is physically active, outdoors, and requires a strong safety mindset. You’ll receive training to succeed and contribute to exceptional customer service on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Physically able to perform heavy outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (drills, power washers, post drivers, banding equipment).
• Strong communication skills and team orientation.
• Dependable transportation to reach job sites daily.
• CDL/CMV check preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Field Installation: Safely set up, maintain, and dismantle temporary fencing and accessories at customer sites.
• Operational Accuracy: Accurately complete essential job paperwork (JHAs, site checklists, truck inventory logs).
• Team Leadership & Navigation: Partner with Lead Fence Technicians and Operations Managers to navigate safely and efficiently to job sites.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, hazard-free workplace and company vehicle while upholding safety protocols.
• Professional Representation: Represent the company with a professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-first mindset.

Job Description Summary

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Experience)

• Physical Stamina: Comfortable performing heavy outdoor labor in various weather conditions and physically handling panels weighing 50-80 lbs.
• Tool & Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (drills, power washers, post drivers, banding equipment).
• Work Ethic & Drive: Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the motivation to get the job done right.
• Reliable Transportation: Dependable personal transportation to reach job sites daily.
• Bonus Qualifications (A Huge Plus!): Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record capable of passing a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) check (not required, but strongly preferred!) .
• Experience operating a forklift or one- ton truck.

Base Pay Range: $21.84 - 31.39
