Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Fence Technician to safely transport, install, and remove temporary fencing at customer sites. You will operate a fence truck, prep and unload materials, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering timely service.

The role requires a valid CDL Class C, at least two years of commercial driving and two years of general labor experience, plus strong time management, communication, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tools daily and ensure safe operation.
• Verify loads and ensure all materials and tools are present.
• Perform pre-shift vehicle inspection and report issues.
• Operate fence vehicle between designated work sites.
• Unload materials and install panels per specifications; measure and mark locations.
• Coordinate workload with Fence Helper; monitor progress and site safety.
• Meet with site superintendent to confirm work orders and maintain contact with supervisor.
• Record personnel, production and operational data daily and submit.
• Train Fence Helper on installation procedures and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
