Hagerty Consulting Inc is seeking a FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager to support local governments and nonprofits recovering from disasters under federal funding programs. The role includes collecting documentation, ensuring cost eligibility, and crafting FEMA PA Project Worksheets.

Travel to client sites may be involved. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong financial analysis and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in management consulting or FEMA PA support.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as economics, political science, public policy, emergency management, or business administration.
• Experience with financial analysis and reconciliation; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support local governments and nonprofits recovering from disasters through FEMA PA funding.
• Assist with collecting documents, damage reports, financial data, and other records for recovery.
• Determine cost eligibility under FEMA PA program policies and rules.
• Collaborate with clients to develop FEMA PA Project Worksheets (PWs).
• Contribute to other recovery efforts as needed.

Hagerty Consulting Inc Hagerty is the nations leading emergency management and homeland security consulting firm Known for its public spirit innovative thinking problem solving and exceptional people Hagerty is sought after to work on some of the largest and most complex crisis and emergency management issues We serve our clients across the nation to enhance their preparedness programs; create more resilient and sustainable communities; provide innovative solutions to enhance their response; and obtain and manage grants and loans to support their recovery This is not for immediate hire Candidates for the FEMA Public Assistance PA Program Delivery Manager position will be considered for our internal Recovery Cadre pipeline Individuals we have added to this internal Recovery Cadre pipeline will receive first consideration for future openings that align with their skillset and interests The Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA Public Assistance PA Program Delivery Manager will be responsible for providing support to clients associated with the FEMA PA Program andor other special programs as needed The FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager PDMG may be assigned to different environments Depending on the project these may include working remotely intermittent travel to client sites or potentially longer term travel on deployments

Responsibilities

• Support local governments and private non profits recovering from natural disasters through federal funding programs namely the FEMA PA program
• Support the administrative process of the recovery program through collection of documentation covering damage reports financial information facility maintenance records and other relevant data
• Assist these clients with ensuring their costs are eligible for funding based on the FEMA PA program policy process and compliance rules
• Partner with clients to take this collected information and contribute to project formulation efforts namely creating well crafted FEMA PA Project Worksheets PWs
• Contribute to other recovery efforts outside of the FEMA PA program as assigned

Qualifications

• A minimum of two 2 years of professional experience preferably in management consulting or in a role directly supporting the FEMA PA Program
• A bachelors degree in a related field eg economics political science public policy emergency management business administration
• Previous experience with financial analysis and reconciliation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel eg pivot tables VLOOKUP
• Strong communication skills including written and verbal

Salary range of 70000 150000
