Hagerty Consulting Inc is seeking a Recovery Managing Associate to support our Recovery division and work with local governments and non-profit clients on disaster recovery initiatives.

In this role you will collaborate with leadership to develop strategic plans, manage key functions, and ensure effective project execution. Limited travel may be required as client demands dictate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university with relevant field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a related field.
• At least two years supporting FEMA PA and IA programs.

Position Summary

The Recovery Managing Associate will support our clients and navigate operations within our Recovery division Candidates will be expected to collaborate with leadership develop strategic plans and assist in managing key functions of the Recovery division Limited traveldeployment may be required by client request This posting is being used to build a talent pipeline for potential future openings across our emergency management recovery function While we may not have an immediate opening we are continuously reviewing applicants and may hire directly from this pool as roles become available contingent upon client needs

Responsibilities for the Recovery Managing Associate

• Support local governments and private non profits with their comprehensive recovery from natural disasters
• Heavily integrate with government and private non profit clients who are managing multi billion dollar long and short term disaster recovery projects by guiding them through administrative and policy challenges
• Contribute to drafting guidance to clients on the eligibility of FEMA PA andor IA costs activities related to these disasters

Qualifications for the Recovery Managing Associate

• A bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university and at least three 3 years of experience in a relevant field
• A minimum of two years 2 of experience supporting the FEMA PA andor IA Program
• Previous project management experience
• Strong communication skills including written and verbal presentations to clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel eg pivot tables VLOOKUP and Microsoft Word

Compensation for the Recovery Managing Associate

• Salary range of 70000 110000
• Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors including but not limited to skills experience and training licensure and certifications internal equity location travel requirements and other business and organizational needs
