Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Paramedics to support FEMA disaster response efforts. Positions are part-time/as-needed and activated as full-time or part-time temporary assignments, with 24/7 8-hour shifts.

You will provide essential medical care to FEMA personnel in disaster sites and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely treatment and continuity of care. Applicants must complete paramedic training, maintain state licensure, and meet experience requirements.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care to FEMA personnel.
• Assess and prioritize medical needs of patients, ensuring timely and appropriate treatment.
• Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams to coordinate patient care and services.
• Educate individuals and communities on health and safety measures during disaster situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing clinical site in disaster-affected areas.
• Completion of a paramedics training program accredited by CAC.
• National Registry certification preferred. CPR/BLS, ACLS.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Paramedic.
• Must hold an unrestricted license in a state or territory of the United States.
