Job summary

DOCS Health seeks qualified paramedics to support FEMA disaster response with essential medical care during emergencies. These are part-time, as-needed positions, activated during deployments with 8-hour shifts and 24/7 coverage.

You will deliver high-quality healthcare to FEMA personnel and help maintain operational readiness in disaster zones. Applicants should have an accredited paramedics program, CPR/BLS and ACLS credentials, and a state license.

Qualifications

Completion of a paramedics training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education.
National Registry certification as a paramedic preferred. CPR/BLS, ACLS required.
Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Paramedic.
Must hold an unrestricted license in a U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to FEMA personnel.
Assess and prioritize medical needs of patients, ensuring timely treatment.
Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and maintain medical records.
Collaborate with healthcare and emergency response teams to coordinate care.
Educate individuals on health and safety measures during disasters.
Assist in setting up and managing clinical site in disaster areas.
