Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking an Application Developer to join the IT Support Services team supporting FEMA at NETC in Emmitsburg, MD. You will design and develop scalable applications, translate requirements into technical specs, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers.

The role emphasizes writing clean code, conducting reviews, testing, and applying security best practices.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Onsite Emmitsburg, Maryland.
  • FEMA Public Trust or T4 Public Trust.
  • Must be able to write SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery, jQuery plug-ins, and various other 3rd party JavaScript libraries), Must be capable of writing client and web-based applications using Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, .NET, C#, and Microsoft Access.
  • Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Skill in working independently, multitasking, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrate high-end customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Self-motivated to learn, troubleshoot, and complete projects.

Connected Logistics is seeking an Application Developer to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

This is a good-faith range based on factors such as your experience, geographic location, and any applicable contractual requirements, and may vary slightly.
