Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking an Application Developer to join our IT Support Services team in support of FEMA at NETC in Emmitsburg, Maryland. You will design and develop software applications using ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Server.

You will analyze requirements, write clean code, conduct testing, participate in code reviews, ensure security best practices, and maintain existing apps, with opportunities for professional growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Onsite Emmitsburg, Maryland.
• FEMA Public Trust or T4 Public Trust.
• Proficiency writing SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (incl. jQuery and plugins).
• Experience building client/web apps using Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, .NET, C#, and Microsoft Access.
• Experience with Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Strong analytical, multitasking and deadline-driven skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Connected Logistics is seeking an Application Developer to add to our Information Technology Support Services team in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable software applications using various programming languages and technologies.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Debug and resolve software defects.
• Maintain and improve existing applications.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure application performance and reliability.
• Implement security best practices in application development.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Other duties may be required to perform as needed.

Requirements

This is a good-faith range based on factors such as your experience, geographic location, and any applicable contractual requirements, and may vary slightly.
