Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, additional education and/or training desirable.
• Possess or qualify for a New Mexico Level III Educational Assistance license.
• Valid Driver’s license and Car Insurance (if traveling from site to site.)
• Be enrolled or eligible to enroll in required coursework (minimum of 9 credit hours per year).

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional support and classroom management for individuals and small groups.
• Interact with immediate supervisor, teachers and parents.
• Assume responsibility for tasks under the direct supervision of a certified teacher.
• Work toward a Bachelor’s degree and employment in the field of education.
