Job description

Manages the Clinic’s high-availability IT infrastructure and operational activities and team that include, but not limited to:

1. Manage and monitor the Clinic’s 24x7 IT Infrastructure and Operations.
2. Ensure that IT-related issues are addressed/resolved in accordance with the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
3. Document the technical functions and support all the Clinic’s IT needs.
4. Manage the deployment, configuration, backup, and ongoing support of Clinical IT Systems.
5. Review and act as needed to daily Clinic infrastructure notifications on system health and status.
6. Ensure security and 3rd party updates for all software and hardware are applied following NIH remediation timelines and Clinic’s SOPs.
7. Ensure that all clinic systems adhere to NIH security standards and configurations.
8. Ensure exemption waivers are submitted for any system(s) that are unable to meet the NIH standards and policies.
9. Ensure that the Clinic’s guidelines are followed for updating FDA approved systems.
10. Complete monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, & annual assessment tasks to fulfill requirements for Security Assessment & Accreditation (SA&A) and prepare reports to maintain the Authorization to Operate.
11. Perform Continuity Plan testing and report findings.
12. Ensure that the inventory of all Clinic systems is maintained and up to date in the Configuration Management System (CMS) and that all changes follow existing change management guidelines.

Required Experience

Qualifications:
• Requires a minimum of ten years of related IT infrastructure operations management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of ServiceNow is required.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization and management.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Experience supporting a mid-sized Federal agency enterprise is a plus.
• ITIL certification is preferred. Additional relevant technical certifications are advantageous, such as: CompTIA A+/Network+/Linux+, HDI, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), various Nutanix certifications.
• Experience supporting a clinical environment is highly desired.
• Must be able to obtain agency suitability clearance.
