NOVA Cat Clinic, a feline-exclusive hospital in Arlington, VA, is hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will be essential in anesthesia, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and patient care, with a focus on cats.

Qualifications

• Holds an active CVT, LVT, RVT, or equivalent veterinary technician credential.
• Experience working with cats and interest in feline dentistry, anesthesia, and surgery.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Support feline dental procedures, including dental radiography and anesthesia.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with soft-tissue procedures.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia; place IV catheters; collect blood and urine samples.
• Obtain diagnostic radiographs and conduct technician appointments.
• Explain follow-up care to clients and maintain medical records.
