Job summary

Cactus Feeders is seeking a Feed Foreman for Stratford Feedyard in Stratford, Texas. The entry-level, salaried position supports daily feed delivery operations, monitors cattle intake, and coordinates schedules under the Feed Delivery Manager.

The program includes rotational training across Feed Delivery, Cattle, Feedmill, and Yard Repair & Maintenance, with mentorship and feedback to build leadership and technical skills over about two years.

Qualifications

• Degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or related field.
• Experience in livestock production preferred.
• Equivalent agricultural experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cattle behavior, feed intake, and bunk conditions to determine daily feed requirements.
• Coordinate feed delivery schedules with hay, cattle receiving, and shipping.
• Supervise feed truck crews to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Monitor feed quality, ration accuracy, and department productivity.
• Assist with employee training and daily coaching.
