Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a back-up for the receiving/warehouse operator and control operator to support automated receiving, batching and pelleting systems in the feed mill. The role includes QA assurance for bulk, bagged and liquid products and daily housekeeping duties, with licensing and safety tasks as needed.

The candidate must be able to lift 60 lbs, climb ladders and operate pallet jacks, while maintaining stock rotation and proper storage in designated areas.

• Be able to lift up to 60 lbs., climb ladders, work at heights up to 200 ft., and operate pallet jack.
• Rotate stock in compliance with the warehouse rotation policy.
• Ensure proper product are stored in designated places.

This partner acts as a back-up for the receiving/warehouse operator and control operator. Must be able to operate the automated receiving, batching and pelleting systems, organize the feed mill warehouse, and safely operate the locomotive used to move railcars. Responsible for QA assurance of all bulk, bagged and liquid products received, and finished feeds produced. Also responsible for daily housekeeping duties.

• Complete daily housekeeping tasks and ensure cleanliness of all areas of feed mill.
• Ensure proper product are stored in designated places.
• Rotate stock in compliance with the warehouse rotation policy.
• Unload bulk, liquid and warehouse trucks, and rail cars and unit trains as needed.
• Operate pelleting, grinding, and batching equipment as needed.
