Job summary

The Simplot Company in Idaho is seeking a reliable individual to operate a feed truck and deliver accurate cattle rations along a designated route.

You will load feed, apply proper proportions, unload at bunk locations, and keep the truck clean while coordinating with maintenance staff.

The role requires reading and following instructions, basic math, and safe work habits; local candidates are preferred as relocation assistance is not provided, and you may be exposed to outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with feeding cattle is a plus.
• Ability to operate a 10-wheeler truck.

Responsibilities

• Feed cattle on an established pen route; unloads feed truck contents into the concrete feed bunks according to the Feed Boss' instructions.
• Loads feed truck with proper feed proportions according to the individual ration requirements.
• Cleans the feed truck; takes the truck to be serviced by Company mechanics.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Summary

Education and/or Experience
