We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the full-time Feeder Production Technician position in our Insect Department .
As a key member of the Insect Department, your work directly supports our mission to provide high-quality feeder insects to reptile and amphibian enthusiasts nationwide. In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining the health and consistency of our insect production, ensuring our customers receive only the best.
Your primary responsibilities will include producing and packing silkworms, maintaining the silkworm area, managing related supplies and materials, and supporting the development of other insect products as needed.

Full-time, 40 hours per week
$15.25/hour Starting Wages

Day-to-day tasks include:
Hatch, feed, maintain, and sort silkworms by size to ensure healthy growth and accurate production
Produce and pack silkworms with attention to quality and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the silkworm area, including managing supplies and equipment
Assist in the development and production of additional insect-based products
Monitor and maintain accurate weekly inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available for customer demand

A fast, efficient, and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working independently for extended periods
A team player who can collaborate effectively with others to share responsibilities and increase productivity
Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize patterns, spot inconsistencies, and proactively address issues
Solid task management skills and the ability to utilize available resources to stay organized and on track
Special consideration is given to those with:
Basic Computer knowledge
Basic skills with hand tools
