Job summary

Hubbard Feeds, Inc. is seeking a Utility Operator to run and maintain equipment for animal feed production. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork while ensuring timely production and shipment.

You will monitor, operate and support processes such as mixing, bagging, spray drying and drying, with duties including housekeeping and inventory assessment. Training paths and growth opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment.
• Being a reliable team member with prompt attendance and excellent performance.
• Communicating with team members and leadership to improve processes.
• Keeping the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products.
• Strictly adhering to safety guidelines throughout the facility.
• Performing all processes in accordance with all Standard Operating Procedures, including the operation of mixing, bagging, spray drying, fluid bed drying and powered lift equipment.
• Assist with operating machinery as needed for production and bagging demands.
• Conduct ongoing cleaning/housekeeping tasks.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment on property.
• Stack bags efficiently and safely.
• Pick orders, load and unload product.
• Assess inventory to ensure proper delivery to customers.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
