You will develop short- and long-term goals, train personnel to meet performance standards, and address customer issues promptly and fairly. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education at college or vocational level; experience may substitute.
• Management or animal nutrition training is necessary.
• Feed operations experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors Cologne feed location inventory levels and purchases.
• Maintains required logs and daily truck inspections.
• Ensures production of quality feed in compliance with laws.
• Provides service to customers to build strong relations.
• Resolves customer issues quickly and fairly per policy.
• Enforces company credit policy.
• Oversees facility grounds and repairs.
• Recommends fixed asset purchases.
• Develops goals with staff and creates programs to meet them.
• Sets performance standards and trains staff.
• Resolves conflicts; informs manager or HR as needed.
• Participates in meetings and trainings.
• Performs administrative tasks.
• Handles other duties as assigned.
