Job summary

Perdue Farms, Inc. is seeking a Feed Mill Receiving Operator to unload bulk, liquid, and micro ingredients, verify materials, and maintain a clean, safe receiving area.

You will sample and label ingredients, support loading feed trucks, and assist with mill operations to ensure accurate handling and quality control. The role runs Monday through Friday, 5:00am-2:30pm, with a base pay of $21-$24 per hour plus potential premiums and overtime.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and math skills are required.
• High School or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to swing a 15 lb sledgehammer.
• Work environments include dust and high noise; PPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure trucks are weighed in before unloading and weighed out before release.
• Record receiving on forms and label samples for each ingredient.
• Inspect incoming loads to meet standards and assist unloading.
• Perform inventory checks and direct materials to correct bins.
