Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Feed Mill Receiving Clerk for 1st & 2nd shifts in Harrisonburg, VA. Responsibilities include unloading trains and various trucks, loading outbound cargo, and maintaining mill equipment.

Must operate equipment including a locomotive and work with others in a dusty environment. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend work, health benefits after 60 days, PTO, and a 401(k) plan with company matching; base pay starts at $21.75/hr with a $1.00 differential on 2nd

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Able to work in dusty environments.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Excellent attendance, safety and work record.
• Ability to operate machinery including Train locomotive.

Responsibilities

• Unload corn trains (75–150 cars/week).
• Unload other rail cars (20–50/week).
• Unload bulk ingredients trucks (about 20/week).
• Unload bag ingredients trucks.
• Load out corn trucks.
• Print receiving and load-out scale tickets.
• Keep corn re-claim system running.
• Clean receiving and mill areas.
• Fill in other areas in the mill as needed.
