Job summary

InsightFS in Wisconsin seeks an experienced operator to manufacture feeds, maintain inventory, and oversee housekeeping and repairs. You will document each batch, manage medicated additives as required, and report needs for major repairs to the Branch Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3+ years of related work, forklift certification, and a CDL. Hazmat/tanker endorsements and pesticide license are preferred; a valid license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and handle all feeds, ensuring proper sequencing to produce correct blends.
  • Assist with inventory and records of feeds, protecting products from damage.
  • Maintain inventory paperwork and conduct physical inventories.
  • Document each batch of feed to support a quality program.
  • Maintain records of medicated feed additives per state law.
  • Inform Branch Manager of major repairs and recommend asset purchases.
  • Maintain housekeeping and safety, use PPE as required.
  • Report unsafe conditions to Location Manager and deliver products to customers.
  • Schedule major equipment repairs.
  • Follow Code of Conduct, Compliance, and EH&S policies.

Job Summary

Perform operational duties, manufacture feeds, deliver products, maintain inventory, and oversee facility housekeeping and repairs.

Essential Job Functions
  • Manufacture and handle all feeds, ensuring proper sequencing to produce correct feed blends.
  • Assist with inventory and records of all feeds, protecting products from damage.
  • Maintain inventory paperwork, conduct physical inventories, and monitor seasonal and daily inventory needs.
  • Document each batch of feed to support a quality manufacturing program.
  • Maintain records of all medicated feed additives as required by state law.
  • Inform the Branch Manager of the need for major building and equipment repairs and recommend annual fixed‑asset purchases.
  • Maintain location housekeeping and safe use of tools and equipment, ensuring appropriate use of personal protective equipment by all employees.
  • Report unsafe conditions to the Location Manager and deliver products to customers.
  • Schedule all major equipment repairs.
Additional Job Functions
  • Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of related work experience.
  • Forklift operation certification and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
  • Hazmat & Tanker endorsements and Pesticide Certified & License for Mixer Loader preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
