Job summary

gpac is representing a well-known company in Minnesota seeking a dedicated Feed Mill Operator to join a busy production site in Rochester. You will load and unload trucks, conduct feed quality tests, operate the feed manufacturing system, and assist with maintenance while following safety protocols.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a willingness to work long hours in hot, cold, or dusty conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills and math comprehension preferred.
• Lift up to 75 lbs; climb ladders; work long hours in harsh environments.
• Experience in a plant environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Conduct feed quality tests.
• Perform and assist in facility maintenance.
• Dump bag ingredients into mixes as formula requires.
• Wait on customers.
• Operate feed manufacturing system.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with other tasks as requested by management.

Feed Mill Operator Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Basic understanding of computers, math comprehension and previous plant environment is preferred
• Must have the ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, work with heights, and work long hours in harsh environments (hot, cold temperatures and a dusty conditions).
• Ability to perform general facility maintenance preferred
