Job summary

Midwest PMS LLC seeks a Feedmill Operator for our Minatare, Nebraska facility. You will be trained across production areas in a Safe Feed/Safe Food certified plant.

In this entry-level role you will operate equipment, monitor operations, maintain records, and support quality control. Must lift 50 pounds, pass background and pre-employment drug screens, and work evenings or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Operate and maintain feedmill equipment such as mixers, grinders, conveyors, and pumps.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hot and cold environments.
• Candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have valid documentation to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain feedmill equipment, including mixers, grinders, conveyors, and pumps.
• Monitor and adjust feedmill equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
• Follow established procedures to ensure production of high-quality animal feed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of feedmill equipment areas.
• Maintain accurate records of feedmill production and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, feed safety, and environmental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Available to work evenings and overtime hours as needed.
• Receive and unload products by truck or rail to the plant.
• Operate mobile equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and forklifts.

Feedmill Operator (Minatare, Nebraska)

As a Feedmill Operator at our Minatare facility, you will be trained in all aspects of the manufacturing process. You will work alongside a culturally diverse crew as you spend time working in all-production areas in the plant. Working in a Safe Feed/Safe Food certified facility, you will be involved in the Quality Control/Quality Assurance process. Duties will vary daily depending on changing business conditions. Hourly Range

$15.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
