Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking an onsite Material Unloader to efficiently unload ingredient trucks, inspect incoming materials, and maintain organized storage areas. The role includes operating the auto-receiving system, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, and QC procedures.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work unsupervised.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (proportions, percentages, area, volume, etc.).
• Possess basic computer knowledge and usage abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively, and read and write legibly.
• Possess sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming ingredient trucks and inspect materials against receiving documents.
• Operate auto-receiving system and use forklift as needed.
• Perform housekeeping, maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Maintain proper storage—rotate stock and prevent bin overflow.
• Complete required paperwork and reports; communicate batching schedules with production teams.
