Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Dothan, AL is seeking a maintenance technician to service mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems on feed mill equipment. You will read blueprints, perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot complex issues to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include welding, basic pipefitting, tool use, and supervising safety with PPE. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics; basic math and computer skills.
• English communication required; ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Identify root causes and implement fixes for complex issues.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance and PPE adherence.
• Train entry level employees as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
