Job Summary

Hog Slat, Incorporated is seeking a full‑time individual to join our feed mill team in Camden, IN to fill the role of Maintenance Technician. This position will consist of multiple duties. Feed mill knowledge is suggested, but it is not required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Repair high and low voltage electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Repair or replace defective equipment and/or parts
• Perform preventive measures to safeguard machinery against degradation on a regular basis
• Inspect, operate and record maintenance work and their costs
• Clean and lubricate parts
• Maintain overall cleanliness and proper functioning of the area, tools, and machinery

Skills / Knowledge Required

• Experience in industrial maintenance
• Experience with repairing high and low voltage electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Welding and fabrication experience

Working Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, occasionally works in outside weather conditions, and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and/or extreme cold.
