Farm Service Elevator, located in Minnesota, seeks a General Labor team member for temporary work at the feed mill. The role involves general housekeeping, maintenance, and light equipment operation to keep facilities clean and safe.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, willingness to learn preventative maintenance, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Shifts include evenings and weekends; pay is $19.42/hour with benefits such as 401k and Earned Sick and Safe time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or Associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Experience operating skid loader and forklift preferred.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work outside in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Keeps all grounds of the feed mill clean, including sweeping, moving grain bins, lawn work, and snow removal.
• Ensures housekeeping and preventative maintenance is done.
• Operates scissor lift, forklift, skid loader, and pay loader (18+).
• Operates corn dryers and assists with scale duties.
• Assists Feed Mill Operators as needed.
• Ensures equipment is in safe operating condition and complies with safety/OSHA standards.
