Job Details: Feed Mill Dispatcher FM02 The starting pay for this position is $19.65/hr. with a $1.00 shift increase for second/third shifts. This facility operates to support feed manufacturing and delivery operations for poultry production and may operate on weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed to meet customer and operational demands.
JOB SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Dispatcher FM02 is responsible for coordinating and dispatching feed deliveries, scheduling loads, maintaining accurate records, and supporting efficient feed mill operations. This position serves as a key communication link between feed mill operations, drivers, service technicians, growers, vendors, and customers while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, company safety standards, biosecurity requirements, and operational procedures.
Must be willing and able to perform the following: Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing and able to stand, sit, walk, climb ladders and stairs, and sustain physical activity throughout the workday. Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Must be willing and able to work in hot, cold, wet, dry, dusty, humid, noisy, and outdoor environments, including exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. Must be willing and able to work in elevated areas and around moving machinery and feed mill equipment. Must be willing and able to use tools and equipment, including a sledgehammer, when required. Must be willing and able to wear all required personal protective equipment, including respirators where applicable. Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain respirator certification where applicable and meet clean-shaven requirements. Must be willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by production and delivery schedules. Must follow all Tyson biosecurity policies and procedures, including signing and complying with Company Biosecurity Guidelines and any restrictions regarding contact with avian species.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Team member must be willing to work in an outside environment that will fluctuate according to the conditions outside at the time; cold, warm, dusty, and/or damp environment with a high concentration of allergens present in a poultry house. Must pass a background check. Abide by company biosecurity guidelines including an agreement to avoid owning and being around any avian species.
