Tyson Foods in Kentucky is hiring a Yard Driver for the C shift (Wed 10am-6pm, Thu-Sat 6am-6pm). You will operate trucks, move trailers, and maintain a safe yard environment while following Tyson policies.

Required: valid driver's license with clean MVR, 6 months of recent experience, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and ability to work outdoors in varied weather. This role offers full-time hours, pay of $24.05/hour, and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of driving/yard experience within the last year.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Summary

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Rehire Requirements

All Candidates that have Previously worked for Tyson will have a Rehire waiting period of 365 days waiting period and will be Limited to 3 times.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid State Driver's License and Pass MVR
• Must have 6 Months Experience within the Last 12 Months
• Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance.
• May work with corrective lenses if vision problems.
• May be provided PPE for additional hearing protection as needed.
• Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening for External.
• Must have valid driver's license and pass MVR Qualification.
• No DUI/DWI Conviction within past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• During your work shift, which will consist of 8-10 hours, you must be willing to move around the work area at a fast pace and willing to bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds.
• Clean lot and pick up trash throughout shift and during down time.
• Must be willing to endure standing, walking, and climbing up and down from yard shuttle vehicles up to 100% of the time.
• At certain times, other job duties may be part of the routine.
• Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.

Environment

Must accept work in a cold damp environment with temperatures ranging from -5 to 34 degrees and exposed to outdoor conditions. Environment will be fast paced and require repetitive motion. May be exposed to inclement weather from time to time, working outdoors up to 100% of the time. Including both Hot and Cold weather. Team members will furnish their own boots and must wear either steel or composite toe boots that conform to ANSI 75lbs or more PSI rating with a slip resistant sole that covers the ankles. (Composite toe preferred) Standing or walking up to 100% of the time Proficiency in reading and writing. ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
