Job summary

Mill is a waste prevention technology company pioneering systems to transform food scraps into valuable resources. The Feed Manufacturing Operator role is based in Mukilteo, WA, onsite five days a week, handling raw materials, operating equipment, and maintaining records to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in warehouse or manufacturing, forklift experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; work legally in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
• Basic familiarity with Google Suite, Excel and Slack.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in safety programs.
• Inspect inbound material and document findings.
• Operate process equipment and perform lock-out/tag-out safety procedures.
• Handle materials and operate a forklift safely for loading/unloading.
• Keep accurate production, quality and maintenance records and ensure traceability.
• Rectify non-conforming product and quarantine as needed.
• Stand and walk up to 6–8 hours daily; lift up to 50 lbs up to 50 yards.
• Suggest safety, quality, and yield improvements on the line.
