Job summary

BioUrja Renewables, LLC in Peoria, IL is seeking a Feed Loadout Utility to join the Loadout Department. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, loading barges, retrieving samples, cleaning, and related duties with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Applicants should possess basic mechanical skills, the ability to work efficiently, and adhere to GMP and plant procedures. No prior experience is required; 2–4 weeks of training are provided. Union hourly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills with hand tools required.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Basic process knowledge for plant operations.
• Able to understand GMP and personnel practices requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the utility to ensure department and shift objectives are met.
• Perform manual labor and daily cleanup responsibilities.
• Retrieve samples from the field and document results.
• Assist with lockouts on equipment and basic maintenance like oiling and greasing.
• Operate mechanized equipment and locomotives as assigned.
• Load feed barges and load/offload trucks and rail as needed.
• Restock department and take readings per policy.
