Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. in Bellevue, Nebraska is seeking a Load Out Operator to manage loading outbound trucks with finished product using PLC touchscreens and to ensure a steady flow of material for processing.

This role requires operating yard and plant equipment, loading meat and bone meal and grease, and performing routine cleaning while maintaining safety as the top priority. The candidate should be able to work nights and weekends; CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to review & comprehend qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.
• Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.

Responsibilities

• Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials.
• Responsible for loading both meat and bone meal, and loading grease onto tankers.
• Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.
• Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.
• All other duties as assigned.
