Job summary

Bell & Evans in Pennsylvania is seeking a reliable diesel-powered tractor-trailer driver to transport animal feed from mills to farms. This role requires strict adherence to DOT regulations and a proven safety record.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, manage weights and scales, and handle on-road situations during long 12+ hour shifts. Experience with rural route deliveries and feed mill load-out systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience hauling animal feed.

Responsibilities

Drives diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to transport feed from mills to farms.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Minimum 1year ofexperience in hauling animal feed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
