Job summary

PIMCO is seeking an experienced professional to join its Fee Strategy team in Newport Beach, CA, to support pricing governance, fee analysis, and strategic commercial decision-making across institutional and fund channels.

The role partners with Legal, Client Billing, Fund Administration, and Operations to ensure the integrity and defensibility of fee analyses for negotiations, regulatory requirements, and Board reporting, while driving process improvements and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a finance/analytical field.
• CFA, MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis capabilities.
• Experience in asset management, pricing, or strategy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead MFN review process with fee comparisons and actions.
• Prepare and validate 15c fee analyses and board exhibits.
• Produce sub-advisory fee analyses for funds and institutional clients.
• Coordinate data inputs and ensure accuracy of fee reporting.
• Maintain Won/Lost/Pending reporting and related analytics.
• Monitor fee trends and deliver management reporting to stakeholders.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Drive process improvements with automation and AI-enabled solutions.
