Job summary

Hudson Guild Counseling Services, a licensed Article 31 Mental Health Clinic, seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Psychologist to serve as Clinical Supervisor for a team of up to six LMSWs. This is a fee-for-service, part-time position with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• NY State LCSW or PsyD in good standing with the New York State Office of the Professions.
• Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
• Previous experience supervising LMSWs or related mental health professionals and familiarity with OMH regulations strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5, trauma-informed care, and a range of clinical modalities (e.g., CBT, EMDR, DBT, psychodynamic therapy).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual strongly preferred, but not required.
• Daytime and evening availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group clinical supervision to a caseload of up to 6 LMSWs.
• Ensure supervisees are practicing in accordance with OMH, NYS Office of Professions, and Article 31 clinic standards.
• Guide supervisees in developing and implementing effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Review and provide feedback on clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Support LMSWs in managing complex cases, crisis situations, and ethical dilemmas.
• Promote professional development and clinical competency through regular feedback and guidance.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to ensure quality assurance and compliance with agency protocols.
• Participate in periodic case conference meetings, training, and quality improvement activities as required.
• Provide on-call crisis support as needed

The Clinical Supervisor will provide regular clinical supervision in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) regulations and professional licensing standards. This is a fee-for-service, part-time position with flexible hours.
