Job summary

InterSystems seeks a FedRAMP/GovRAMP Compliance Program Lead to build and lead an authorization readiness program for government cloud offerings. The role collaborates across Product, Engineering, Cloud Services, Security, Managed Services, Legal, and external assessors to establish scalable processes and ongoing monitoring.

The ideal candidate brings deep FedRAMP, GovRAMP, NIST 800-53 expertise and strong program management to drive compliance artifacts, audits, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 12+ years leading or supporting FedRAMP, GovRAMP, StateRAMP, or comparable cloud compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 and cloud security frameworks.
• Experience supporting authorization activities, audits, continuous monitoring, or security assessments.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP documentation (SSP, SAP, SAR, POA&M, policies & evidence).
• Strong understanding of SaaS/cloud environments (AWS/AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov) and regulated platforms.
• Excellent program management with cross-functional initiatives and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead FedRAMP/GovRAMP readiness program, roadmap development, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Define and maintain the authorization boundary with Product, Engineering, Cloud Services, Security, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate readiness assessments, gap analyses, remediation planning, and formal assessments with external advisors and 3PAOs.
• Develop and maintain authorization artifacts (SSP, policies, control narratives, evidence, POA&Ms, continuous monitoring).
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable control ownership and operational processes.
• Establish repeatable evidence collection, control validation, and audit readiness across teams.
• Track remediation activities, findings, risks, and POA&M items to completion.
• Partner with technical teams to align cloud architecture, change management, incident response, vulnerability management, and IAM with requirements.
• Facilitate governance meetings and communicate readiness, risks, and recommendations to executives.
• Help establish long-term operating model for maintaining authorized government cloud environment.
