Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a technical IT role with hands-on artifact review and analysis.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, VLANs).
• Experience with IaC templates and CI/CD pipelines is required.
• Ability to independently research vendor documentation to interpret controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with assessors on federal compliance reviews (FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, FISMA).
• Review artifacts: configs, logs, sys settings, and network diagrams.
• Research unfamiliar technologies and determine secure configurations.
• Lead interview walkthroughs with client engineers and system admins.
• Draft audit observations and assessment reports.
• Educate clients on compliance requirements and improvements.
