Long Island University is seeking a Student Ambassador to represent the university to prospective students and families, extending beyond campus tours to support admissions recruitment initiatives at LIU Brooklyn.
You will help familiarize visitors with the university during planned events, assist with inquiries by phone and in person, and participate in data entry and mass mailing campaigns as directed by the Admissions staff.

The mission of the Student Ambassador is to serve as representative of Long Island University to prospective students and their families extending beyond leading campus tours to actively participating in the recruitment efforts of the Office of Admissions of Long Island University. In addition, it is the mission of the Student Ambassadors to familiarize prospective students and their families with Long Island University by participating in planned Admissions recruitment events and office initiatives.
To be considered for the position of Student Ambassador, students must be a currently enrolled student registered for at least 12 credit hours for the current fall or spring term, must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, and have completed at least one term at Long Island University. Students must also be very energetic, outgoing, and personable.
Salary: $17 per hour
