Job summary

Long Island University is seeking a Student Ambassador to represent the university to prospective students and families, extending beyond campus tours to support admissions recruitment initiatives at LIU Brooklyn.

You will help familiarize visitors with the university during planned events, assist with inquiries by phone and in person, and participate in data entry and mass mailing campaigns as directed by the Admissions staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled LIU student registered for at least 12 credits.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Must have completed at least one term at LIU.
• Energetic, outgoing and personable.

Responsibilities

• Provide campus tours to prospective students and families.
• Attend on-campus recruitment events.
• Serve as a liaison between prospective/current students and LIU Brooklyn.
• Assist with inquiries via phone and in person.
• Mass mailing campaigns and data entry, and other duties as assigned by Admissions staff.
