Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a UX/UI Designer to craft accessible, user-centered interfaces for government clients. You’ll create wireframes, prototypes, and storyboards, ensuring 508 compliance and collaborating across product, design, and development teams.

A strong portfolio in UX design and hands-on experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision are required. 2+ years of professional UX design experience, along with the ability to work in cross-functional Agile environments,

Qualifications

2+ years of professional UX design experience with user flows, interaction patterns, and usability principles.
Strong UI design skills including layout, visual hierarchy, typography, and responsive design.
Knowledge of 508 accessibility compliance and applying accessibility best practices in design reviews.
Experience with design/prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
Ability to collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners in cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies, responsive design patterns, and modern UX processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication to articulate design decisions.
MUST hold an interim secret clearance or above (active Top Secret highly desired).
Willingness to work onsite in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

Design and enhance user interfaces that deliver seamless, intuitive experiences across products.
Develop wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and user flows from requirements and insights.
Ensure accessibility and 508 compliance throughout the design lifecycle.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.
Conduct usability testing, analyze results, and iterate designs based on feedback.
Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and component libraries.
