Job summary

The Federal Transit Administration is seeking a Transportation Analyst (Policy) to lead policy reviews, develop public transportation legislation, regulation, and guidance, and coordinate across offices in Washington, DC.

You will perform ad-hoc data analyses, prepare reports and presentations, and track deliverables while supporting the Office of Policy Review and Development. Strong federal policy experience and ability to work independently in a diverse portfolio are preferred.

• Ability to manage projects and track deliverables independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Review, develop, and facilitate the development of new public transportation legislation, regulation, and guidance.
• Perform ad-hoc data analyses, develop reports and presentations, and communicate results as assigned.
• Support Office of Policy Review and Development activities, including drafting and reviewing documents, and tracking deliverables.
