ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, in Salt Lake City seeks a Training Specialist, Mid to design and deliver end-to-end training programs that help users, support staff, and managers effectively adopt new systems in a mission-critical federal environment.

You will lead needs analyses, define learning objectives, develop blended curricula, and coordinate LMS activities while supporting change management during system rollouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or training and development.
• Demonstrated proficiency with instructional design methodologies and adult-learning principles.
• Experience designing, developing, and delivering training for technical systems or complex business processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform training needs analyses and define role-based learning objectives for diverse user groups.
• Design and develop blended training solutions including classroom/virtual courses, e-learning modules, simulations, and job aids.
• Convert complex technical concepts into practical examples, scenarios, and case studies aligned to real program use cases.
• Create and maintain reusable templates, storyboards, and content standards for consistency.
• Configure and use LMS to manage curricula, enrollments, and completion tracking; produce metrics for stakeholders.
• Facilitate training events (in-person and virtual) and adjust delivery based on feedback.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, surveys, and on-the-job checks; implement improvements.
• Partner with product owners and system admins to keep training in sync with releases and deployments.
• Support change-management activities by coordinating training schedules and readiness for new rollouts.
