Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Federal Tax Senior Associate in the United States. This role focuses on providing federal tax compliance and advisory services to middle-market clients, including partnerships, S-corps and corporations.

You will work with leaders on complex tax issues and participate in research projects to support client needs. You will collaborate with specialty tax teams and engage in professional development, mentorship, and a culture that emphasizes work-life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or related degree, to sit for CPA and/or Bar exam.
• CPA or JD license preferred.
• Two+ years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience in public accounting.

Responsabilités

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to middle market clients.
• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations.
• Participate in tax research projects and draft IRS responses.
• Collaborate with leaders on projects in corporate and flow-through taxation such as ASC740.
• Develop client recommendations and discuss with leadership.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex matters in state/local, international, credits and incentives.
