You will work closely with engagement teams on federal tax compliance and advisory projects, participating in research, planning and client communications while advancing your technical and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or related degree, with CPA or Bar eligibility.
• Two or more years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience.
• Strong time management, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to middle market clients.
• Serve S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations.
• Assist with tax research, IRS responses and inquiries.
• Collaborate with leadership on corporate and flow-through tax matters.
• Develop client recommendations and present to leadership.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international and credits.
• Learn and grow through on-the-job coaching and firm programs.
• Leverage entrepreneurial skills to build internal and client relationships.
• Support team development per Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
• Engage in firm events and activities promoting work-life balance.
