Job summary

LRS Federal LLC seeks a Staff Architect to support a federal government client in managing the quality program of multiple construction and design projects (MEP related) in Alabama, including Tuskegee or Montgomery. The role requires senior experience with federal agencies and strong leadership. U.S.

Citizenship is required. Responsibilities include leading teams, coordinating with subcontractors, overseeing schedules and budgets, and ensuring QA plans are implemented to meet client expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience on Federal Government engineering or architecture projects with US Department of Defense, GSA, VA, USDA, DHS, DOI or other federal agencies
• 5-10+ years of experience in engineering or architecture design, construction management, environmental science, project management, or related field
• Excellent strategic, analytical, client management, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of technical engineers, designers, and project managers to achieve quality standards and client satisfaction
• Facilitate team communication, coordination, and collaboration
• Collaborate with and mentor less experienced employees
• Work with teams across business lines and manage relationships with subcontractors
• Evaluate progress, identify challenges, and recommend solutions
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and staff utilization
• Monitor and maintain team morale
• Support company goals and objectives as required by executive management
• Project management and coordination across all project phases
• Communicate with clients and project teams, including public agencies
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
• Implement quality assurance plans
