Job summary

Cape is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead engagements with federal customers from our DC/NC-based team. You will own the customer relationship, understand privacy and security needs, and drive deployment of Cape’s privacy-first solutions with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and sales.

You will influence product direction, deliver executive-level presentations, and ensure successful implementation on client sites while maintaining a strong ownership mindset and readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing/subnetting, NAT, routing, switching, core network functions).
• Experience with cyber operations, privacy, security, telecommunications or related fields.
• Active U.S. TS/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Based in DC or North Carolina; relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Own engagement with a new/early federal customer; boots on the ground.
• Cultivate relationships at all levels; navigate bureaucracies; present to executives.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to align direction with customer realities.
• Lead product rollout and integration at customer locations; coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Make decisions with autonomy while leveraging engineering and product support when needed.
• Deliver value through practical, customer-focused solutions.
