Job summary

Cape, America’s privacy-first mobile carrier, is seeking a senior security leader to own strategy across network, products, and corporate systems. You will build and scale a high-velocity security program with engineers and executives, driving rapid, secure product development in a privacy-first culture.

You will lead a world-class team, partner with Engineering, and report to the founder/CEO. This build-and-defend role demands vision, technical credibility, and a relentless focus on protecting

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security with senior leadership experience.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Proven track record building security programs from early stage.
• Deep technical credibility to discuss architecture with engineers.
• Strong belief in privacy and security and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end security strategy for network, product, cloud, and IT.
• Build and lead a security team defending a carrier-grade network.
• Design security architecture from RAN to core and data systems.
• Partner with Engineering to embed security in product lifecycle.
• Lead threat modeling, pentesting, red-teaming, and incident response programs.
• Set security policy to the board translating risk into business terms.
• Manage external vendors, auditors, and bug bounty programs.
• Champion a security-first culture company-wide.
