Job description

Washington, D.C. | On-site | Director level

You have spent years selling into federal agencies. You know the buyers, you know the procurement, and you know how long it takes to get a door open. This role hands you a book that is already open.

About the Company

A global authority in anti-financial crime. Membership and certification led, and the credential they issue is the one most anti-money laundering professionals in government and banking already hold

The Role

You would take the existing book and grow it by more than forty percent within two years, through agency expansion, partnerships and net new. Director-level ownership. You carry the number, you set the agency strategy, and you have a Sales Associate supporting pipeline.

You would sell enterprise memberships, professional certifications, in-person boot camps and anti-money laundering education, into federal investigative units and financial regulators.

This is a Washington D.C. role.

You would be in front of agencies around three days a week, so you need to be based in the D.C. metro area and able to commute to agency sites. Candidates outside the D.C. area cannot be considered for this position.

If you have spent seven or more years selling into federal agencies, you originated that business yourself, and your network sits on the investigative and financial crime side of government rather than in civilian IT procurement, this is worth a conversation.

What You Will Do
  • Own the existing federal book and grow it by more than forty percent within two years
  • Originate net new agency business rather than farming existing contract vehicles
  • Set and run the agency strategy, deciding where the expansion comes from
  • Be in front of agencies in Washington D.C. around three days a week
  • Build the partnership and channel side, which is currently underdeveloped
  • Manage and develop one Sales Associate supporting your pipeline
  • Represent the organization at anti-financial crime and federal law enforcement events
What You Will Bring
  • Based in the Washington D.C. metro area and able to commute to agency sites
  • Seven to ten years of federal sales, with five years as the hard floor
  • Federal business you personally originated and can evidence, not inherited accounts
  • A live and current network inside federal investigative or financial regulatory agencies
  • Experience building partnerships or channel from a standing start
  • Comfort selling a credential and a curriculum rather than a product
  • Track record of carrying and hitting a federal number
Also Considered

Candidates from certification bodies, professional education, membership organizations or federal training providers with genuine federal origination history will be reviewed, as will federal sellers coming out of investigative data, financial crime analytics or digital forensics.

What Changes
  • You sell a credential people want to hold rather than another platform
  • You inherit revenue that already works instead of building a territory from zero
  • Your agency relationships become the strategy rather than a line on your resume
  • You own the federal number outright instead of carrying a slice of someone else's
  • Nobody has held this seat before, so the way it gets built is yours
Compensation

Base salary of $150,000 to $170,000 depending on experience, plus commission. Director-level title and ownership. Full compensation detail, including commission structure, provided on first call.
